hello everyone, second post of this blog. shall hope that it stays alive till next year at the very least. just pray it won't die during EOYs.
an okay day i guess. went to astra to claim ownership of my tee which had my surname imprinted so well on the back that anyone within 20m from my back could see. geoffrey had a little fuss over how 'mook' appeared so prominently on the tee and then shouted out "astra mook". for a moment there, i thought i suddenly became related with astro boy. -.-
read harry potter. actually, read only 3 lines before i realised that mrs ong had arrived and flag-raising was about to start. don't get why it's still called 'flag-raising' when almost nobody sees it getting hung high on the flagpole anymore. -.-
played floorball today after 2 laps around the track while rolling the stupid floorball. it was stupid. got a little impatient and simply whacked it down the track. missed several times though. missed a total of 4 times. which reminds me, ms ching pey suan said a total number of 246 'hor's throughout one hour's worth of c.m.e. lesson. courtesy of mancini who had nothing better to do.
after p.e. was financial literacy. my team bought a 100 lots of osim and 50 lots of china fish last week. pathetic man. osim dropped over the course of 7 days. really stupid. why? that's because osim rose by 6.6% before the rather gradual drop. if not my team would have made 20,000 already... sigh. at least our prediction of china fish was on the dot. it rose by a full 0.1. we earned 5,000 from china fish. not too bad a deal. second highest earner in my class.
had 4 periods of mrs ong thereafter. half to pc and half of it to chem practical in the lab. extracted caffeine today. quite a boring experience. disecting a pig's heart in bio was more of an eye-opener. pc was about kindness. i realise that i'm still too nice to people. should start being more evil. xD that is if i can bear to hurt anyone insensitively. oh well, i'm nice, really nice. xD
bio was pretty full of confusion today. all the blood groups and stuff. what antigen a, antigen b, antibody a and antibody b. pretty confusing. but i understood it in the end. well, at least i think i did.
la lecture was last. for some reason, i had no trouble keeping myself awake. i was practising cursive penmanship on my little notebook. finally got the gist of writing 'f' properly. speaking of writing, saw xinyi doing her typography. she drew 'c', 'd' and 'm' of a serif font. quite nice. sad to say that part of her capital 'm' smudged off the edge of the last stroke. anyway, i did mention posting some of my recent drawings to my juniors so here they go:
this is clarence wong, he's from my chinese class and i think this suits him. or at least he is ahem pretty enough. actually, this lady is a korean model, park hyun sun, at least that's what my primary schoolmate said. anyway, i'm a little disappointed with the drawing. the head's too small, making the rest of the body seems awkward. her left leg is too fat and the angle of the chest is about 30 degrees off. sickening. men are so much easier to draw. sigh. maybe i shall draw more next time.
here's a little poster i drew up for my chinese teacher. to commemorate how evil my chinese teacher is. the teoh devil is none other then the teacher. like who wouldn't expect that. i don't exactly plan to film out a movie out of him though. for those wondering, the swastika is drawn there because we suspected him of a nazi member in his past life. xD once again, my proportions are a little screwed. this was thanks to a push of the table and got my pen flying out of precision. sad but still, i managed to repair it a little. though from the wrist onwards, the arm looks exceptionally large... but i'm pretty pleased with the eye. i hope it does look creepy enough. xD
here is a picture i took over 40 minutes to draw. my pen was a bit leaky that day and it was hard keeping it from smudging. drawing the petals were most painful. i liked the outcome in the end though. didn't look too bad. well, i drew it during literature. mrs vora was discussing the short story, well you'd have guessed it, 'a rose for emily'. i was a little bored so i just did this little sketch. if you compared the number of lines on each picture i posted, you would have noticed that this is the smallest one out of all my drawings. so you can probably understand how hard it is to draw something this small with a leaky pen.
that's about all the drawings that are still intact. most of the rough sketches got crosses all over them already.
oh well, off to search for my old chinese paintings. mrs goh wants some. shall try searching, i guess.
